This website is operated for Mythical Skincare Co., a skincare and esthetics business based in Beaumont, California.

This policy describes the current website, the external services linked from it, and the information Mythical may receive when a client uses its online booking platform. It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party services.

The current website does not provide a contact form, user account, on-site checkout, or other field that asks visitors to submit personal information directly to the website.

When the site or its resources load, hosting infrastructure and resource providers may receive ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested page or resource, referring page, and date/time information.

Appointment buttons on this website send visitors to Mythical Skincare Co.’s GlossGenius booking page. GlossGenius provides booking, payment, and related business technology to Mythical.

Mythical currently uses GlossGenius client and booking features that may make the following information available to the business:

• name, phone number, and email address so Jeannie can contact clients when needed;
• appointment selections, appointment history, service notes, and related client-record information;
• facial and waxing forms or waivers, including service-safety information a client voluntarily provides about allergies, medications, skin conditions or sensitivities, contraindications, recent treatments or procedures, and other relevant health or treatment history;
• client photos or other service documentation when a client provides them or they are maintained as part of the client record; and
• deposit, payment, card-on-file status, cancellation-charge, and transaction information associated with an appointment.

Mythical may use information available through its Professional account to schedule and manage appointments, communicate about services, review required waivers and service-safety information, administer required deposits and applicable cancellation charges, maintain appropriate client and transaction records, and provide requested services.

Service-safety information is used as reasonably needed to evaluate whether a requested facial or waxing service is appropriate, identify contraindications or precautions, reduce treatment risk, document client disclosures and consent, and provide the requested service. Mythical does not use a client’s allergy, medication, skin-condition, contraindication, or related service-safety disclosures for unrelated advertising purposes.

GlossGenius and its payment partners process payment-card information under their own terms and privacy practices. A card may be kept on file through the booking/payment platform for authorized booking or cancellation-related charges, but Mythical does not need to receive or store a client’s full payment-card number on this website.

When Mythical receives personal information in connection with a booking or client relationship, it may use that information to:

• schedule, confirm, modify, or manage appointments;
• provide skincare, waxing, and related services requested by the client;
• administer booking requirements, including required non-refundable deposits, rescheduling rules, and applicable cancellation balances or charges;
• review client waivers and service-related disclosures such as allergies, medications, skin conditions or sensitivities, contraindications, recent treatments or procedures, and other relevant health or treatment history before facial or waxing services;
• respond to client questions and service-related communications;
• maintain business, appointment, client, and transaction records; and
• protect the business, clients, and services from misuse, fraud, disputes, or unlawful activity.

Mythical may rely on third-party service providers to operate parts of its website and booking workflow. Categories of providers currently relevant to the website include:

• website hosting and content-delivery providers;
• GlossGenius and payment-related providers used for booking, deposits, and appointment administration;
• Google Fonts, used to deliver website typography;
• product manufacturers or media hosts used for certain product imagery; and
• Instagram and TikTok when a visitor chooses to leave this site and interact with those platforms.

Third-party providers may process information under their own contracts, settings, and privacy policies. Mythical may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect legal rights, investigate misuse, or respond to lawful requests.

The current website source does not include an analytics script, advertising pixel, or cross-site behavioral advertising code. The site does load certain third-party resources, such as fonts and product imagery, and those providers may receive standard technical request information when their resources are requested.

The current website is not configured to sell personal information or to share personal information through advertising technology for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Because the current website does not itself use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking technology, it does not currently change its website behavior in response to a browser “Do Not Track” signal or Global Privacy Control signal.

Third-party sites reached through external links, including GlossGenius, Instagram, and TikTok, may have their own tracking practices and signal-handling rules. Their practices are governed by their own policies.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the service used. Appointment history, client contact information, service notes, waivers, allergy, medication, skin-condition, contraindication, or other service-safety disclosures, photos or service documentation, deposits, card-on-file status, cancellation records, and transaction-related records may remain in the booking platform or business records for operational, service, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes. Third-party providers may also retain information according to their own policies and account settings.

Reasonable technical measures are used to help protect the website. No website, network, payment system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Information processed by third-party services is also subject to those providers’ safeguards and practices.

Because waivers and client records may contain sensitive service-safety information, Mythical seeks to limit access and use to what is reasonably necessary for appointment administration, service suitability and safety, client care, recordkeeping, payment or cancellation administration, dispute handling, and legal obligations.

You may choose not to use the external booking or social links on this website. Browser and device settings may also allow you to limit cookies, third-party content, or other web storage.

Depending on applicable law and the information Mythical maintains, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you. To make a privacy request, email mythicalskincareco@gmail.com and clearly state that your message is a privacy request. Reasonable identity verification may be requested before a request is completed.

Certain information may need to be retained where permitted or required for transaction records, tax/accounting obligations, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or other legal purposes.
